We are hiring a Project Coordinator!

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join SCLC!  

The Project Coordinator will provide administrative support to the operations team to help streamline the Center’s projects. Responsibilities include activities in finance and human resources and may also include Information Technology (IT), facilities, or travel services. General project management includes long and short range strategic planning with Operations Manager in all logistics and administrative activities related to the Center’s national technical assistance services and tobacco free initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have past experience and / or have an interest in public health and tobacco control. Due to the executive nature of The Smoking Cessation Leadership Center’ (SCLC's)
partnerships, the Project Coordinator must be responsible, reliable, and be professional in both written and verbal communications. The candidate must have a keen eye for details, strong organizational skills, be an initiator, and able to multitask and streamline numerous assignments and projects. Some travel may be required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and one or more years of directly related experience; and / or equivalent experience / training
• One+ years’ experience in administration and / or project coordination
• Excellent experience in calendar management, including coordination of complex executive meetings
• Strong knowledge of Drupal, ReadyTalk as well as MS Office suite
• Experience preparing expense reports
• Experience with tech support for web-based meetings using Ready Talk
• Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff verbally and in writing
• Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes
• Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• Excel, PPT, Drupal certifications
• Experience in technical writing
• Experience with UCSF applications (BearBuy, MyExpense, Connexxus, MyReports) and others
• Experience working in Tobacco Control
• Experience in planning CME / CEU activities
