During ASTHO’s first Conversation and Cup of Joe virtual coffee chat (Dec. 2017) on the implications of e-cigarettes and marijuana use, the theme of youth prevention came to the fore. ASTHO heard from participants that there was a need for dialogue about how to address e-cigarette use in schools.

This follow-up Conversation and Cup of Joe virtual coffee chat will provide a platform for discussing how to address the rise of e-cigarette use among youth, featuring examples from public health and pharmacy partners in Rhode Island. Speakers will share challenges and successes of addressing e-cigarette use in schools and respond to audience questions.
