Brian Clark is the Executive Assistant for Dr. Steven Schroeder and Project Analyst at Smoking Cessation Leadership Center. As Project Analyst, he is responsible for managing and overseeing two main areas of work within the SCLC framework, project coordination and data analysis. The project management role includes grant management for external partners, coordinating regional and national committees, maintaining progress in on-going initiatives with partners, as well as managing the SCLC’s social media channels. The analyst role includes regular reporting for SCLC’s funders, analysis of SCLC’s website, regular metrics analysis of SCLC’s social media channels, analysis of state and national data in regards to smoking prevalence, tobacco-free policy implementation, and quality of practice among various health professionals. Brian is also responsible for webinar analysis and creating associated tests for CME/CEU accreditation.
As Executive Assistant for Dr. Schroeder, Brian is responsible for setting up the Director’s meetings, presentations, and various events, as well as provide technical assistance. Brian was drawn to SCLC due to his family history of smoking and desire to be involved in public health issues.
Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology at San Francisco State University and hopes to attend graduate school in the near future for a Master's of Social Work (MSW).
