Maria Pamatmat is the Project Coordinator for the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center (SCLC) at the University of California, San Francisco. She provides administrative support to the operations team to help streamline the Center’s project. She helps with general project management that includes long and short-range strategic planning with the Operations Manager.  Maria helps with all logistics and administrative activities related to the Center’s national technical assistance services and tobacco free initiatives. In addition, she also helps in creating subcontracts and purchase orders for SCLC’s partners.

Maria had 5 years of experience in administration at UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging before joining SCLC last 2019. On her third year working at UCSF, she received the Cathy Garzio Award for Outstanding Staff Employee. Maria earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education with a Community-based Public Health Emphasis and a minor in Humanities from San Francisco State University. She earned a master’s degree in Public Health from University of San Francisco. Maria is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
