Our Focus

Commercial tobacco use does not affect all communities equally. While tobacco use has declined overall, significant disparities remain among populations that have historically faced barriers to health care, tobacco treatment, and other resources that support quitting.

The Smoking Cessation Leadership Center works to reduce these disparities by increasing access to education on evidence-based tobacco treatment and strengthening the capacity of providers and organizations to address tobacco use in priority populations.
