A new paper titled “Tobacco treatment and policies in mental health and substance use treatment facilities in the US” was published in the June 2025 issue of Drug and Alcohol Dependence. Dian Gu, PhD, CTCRE Postdoctoral Scholar, Fan Xia, PhD, Assistant Professor, Epidemiology & Biostatistics at UCSF, and Maya Vijayaraghavan, MD, MAS, Director of the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center, are co-authors on this paper. It estimates latest prevalence of, and factors associated with, tobacco treatment provision and tobacco-free grounds policies in mental health and substance use treatment facilities.
