Renee Fogelberg MD

Chair of the Chiefs of Patient Education, Ncal

Dr. Renee Fogelberg is a board certified Ob/Gyn physician who has practiced at Kaiser Permanente Northern California for the last 16 years. She received her medical training at Columbia University in New Your City and did her residency training at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. She has been involved in patient education for over 10 years and became the Northern California Clinical Lead for tobacco cessation in 2011. In partnership with the health education teams and quality leads as well as primary and sub-specialty physicians she has been successful in designing and implementing a variety of a tobacco cessation workflows which has impacted the nearly 200,000 smokers in Northern California Kaiser Permanente.

Ali Goldstein, MPH

Program Director

Ali Goldstein is a program director for Kaiser Permanente Northern California. She works with medical group partners to reduce the impact of tobacco use in a large and diverse population. In that role, she has designed patient interventions, social marketing campaigns, and systems changes aimed at helping Kaiser Permanente members and their communities quit tobacco use. Ali currently lives in San Francisco with her husband, 2 kids and their canine sibling.
