Behavioral Health Care Provider and Peer Consumer training

The Behavioral Health and Wellness Program (BHWP) conducts training and education for healthcare providers (primary care, behavioral health, and psychiatry residents) and Peer Consumers (people with mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders) regarding wellness initiatives for persons with behavioral health issues. Multiple training curricula have been developed to address the role of wellness in recovery, integrating wellness into behavioral health treatment, and the unique needs of this population. For more information on the provider training or the Peer-to-Peer training, please contact: Mandy Graves May, MPH Director of Training and Outreach (303) 724-3713 or visit http://bhwellness.org
