Andy SL Tan, PhD MPH MBA MBBS
Dr. Andy Tan (he/him) leads the Health Communication and Equity Lab (HCEL) at the Annenberg School at Penn. His research aims to advance communication science to achieve health equity for all. He conducts community-engaged research involving organizations that serve LGBTQ+ communities to design and develop culturally appropriate communication to prevent and reduce tobacco use in youth and young adults.
Julia McQuoid, PhD
Dr. McQuoid is an Assistant Professor in the TSET Health Promotion Research Center and the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She is a health geographer who employs qualitative and mixed research methods to explore the interplay of people, their everyday environments, and behaviors related to health and wellbeing.
Karin A. Kasza, PhD
Dr. Kasza is an Assistant Professor of Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. For more than a decade, her work has leveraged large-scale population-based datasets to investigate tobacco product use behaviors occurring in the ‘real-world’ to inform tobacco regulatory decisions for the betterment of public health.
